A recent addition to our study offerings is a group that gathers following worship on Sundays to read and discuss a variety of subjects ranging from scripture, to books, to current events. The discussion is always lively, humorous and respectful. Schedules and topics vary frequently.

The history of this group includes a Women’s Support Group which began in the 1970s, that originally met on Tuesday morning. As time passed, a Women’s Bible Study group began meeting on Thursday afternoon and eventually the two groups merged to become the Thursday Bible Study Group. This group has used the Horizons Annual Bible Study from the PCUSA and is currently studying Matthew for Everyone Part 1. By N.T. Wright

The Out-to-Lunch Bunch is currently on hiatus due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, but will begin to meet again when it is considered safe. The group usually meets at 11:30 at a local restaurant (that the group chooses the previous month) for lunch and fellowship. The location will be published on the calendar and Facebook Page, with the restaurant and time. For ease of seating, we would prefer to have an RSVP, to notify the restaurant that a large group will be arriving that day.am.
Children's Christmas Shop

LaPorte Church holds a popular Christmas shopping experience every year. Members collect gifts during the year that are displayed and offered for purchase by children at a cost of 25 cents. Each child is allowed to choose four gifts. Santa pays a visit and elves guide the children through their shopping while parents enjoy punch, coffee and cookies while they wait.
The Christmas shop is open to all children. .

Alcoholics Anonymous, is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take monetary and non-perishable food donations from our congregation and community and use them to fight hunger. All donations support the Food Bank for Larimer County. New Food Bank Location coming to LaPorte Presbyterian Church.
PROGRAM ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
La Porte Church partners with the Larimer County Food Bank to host a Lunch Lab truck on Wednesdays from 11:30 to 12:00. Free lunches are available to all children who are present. Games and programming for the kids follow. Check out the video link below:
